Agriculture is one of the pillar industries of Cambodia, a Southeast Asian country. As a developing country, growing and exporting cash crops such as durian helps the country's economic development for better life. In terms of planting conditions, sufficient sunlight and stable irrigation are necessary conditions for durian cultivation. And they are precisely the advantages of solar pumping system.

In April 2024, the solar pumping system designed by Solartech for the durian farm in Kratie Province, Cambodia was successfully debugged and installed. When the sun rises every day, the system automatically pumps water to the water tank and then flows through different pipe systems to complete irrigation. When the sun sets, the system stops running without manual operation. The project uses Solartech PM-S series 1.5kW permanent magnet solar pumping system, and the daily water pumping volume can reach 60 cubic meters. It can not only provide irrigation water for durian planting, but also greatly facilitate the water needed for daily life.
