Mozambique has a tropical grassland climate, with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast. During the dry season, rural residents in the northwestern province of Tete often face difficulties in fetching water for daily life.
In March 2024, Solartech provided system equipment and technical support, and local partners in Mozambique organized the construction of the 11kW solar village domestic water supply project in Tete Province, which officially completed debugging and operation. The water source of this project is about 2km from the village, and two sets of solar surface pumps are selected, equipped with advanced functions such as "
Solar Priority" and "Multi-pump Linkage System" which provided by Solartech. The daily water supply to the village exceeds 200 cubic meters.
The successful installation and operation of this project not only effectively and quickly solved the domestic water needs of more than 420 households in the village, but also played a good demonstration effect on using solar pumping system technologies and products to solve local village water supply problems.
