La Nueva Concepcion, Escuintla, Guatemala

In February 2022, Solartech PB-G3 series 2.2kW AC solar pumping system was successfully installed in a farm in Nueva Concepcion, Escuintla, Guatemala. The project is mainly used to provide irrigation water for the farm.

Things got changed from Feb 2022, as the owner newly put on a solar pumping system. It gonna save him at least $2300 per year from the gasoline purchase. Based on 2.2kW working power, the solar energy of the system is able to provide 95m3 water per day, pumping it from 35 meters underground.

The system is powered by pure solar energy, without energy storage battery, automatic operation and no need manual guard. Compared with the original gas motor water pumping system, it not only saves the operation and maintenance costs, but also reduces the noise and eliminates the pollution of gas exhaust emissions to the farm environment.
