Project Location:
Guatemala
Project Introduction:
At present, in Guatemala, some residents living far away from cities and in mountainous areas have no access to the municipal water supply system, so the problem of daily living water is still very serious.
Solution:
In April 2021, Solartech PB-G2 series 3kW AC solar water pumping system was successfully installed in a village in the suburb of Chimaltenango, Guatemala. The project is used to provide daily living water for nearby villagers. Before the installation of the project, a 22kW diesel water pumping system used in the village consumed a lot of diesel oil each time due to the excessive power, and the operation and maintenance cost was high. After reassessing the water demand of the village, the 3kW solar pumping system recommended by Solartech can meet the demand.
Social Benefits:
The Solartech solar submersible pump system is powered by pure solar energy, without energy storage battery, automatic operation and no need manual guard. Compared with the original diesel pump system, it not only saves the operation and maintenance costs, but also reduces the noise and eliminates the pollution of diesel exhaust emissions to the village environment.
