In August 2021, Solartech 1.1kW AC solar pumping system was successfully installed in a farm in the suburb of Dodoma,Tanzania. The project is used for agricultural irrigation, with total water head about 120 meters and average daily water flow about 12 cubic meters.

Solartech PB-G3 Smart Pro Series 2.2kW single phase solar pump inverter is selected for this solar water pump system. The system operates automatically and supports diesel power generation backed up.The two power supplies are switched automatically, solar power generation is preferred as priotiry, to meet the needs of 24-hour operation. The system has a built-in remote monitoring system, which can monitor the operation status in real time. IP65 protection grade, which can be installed outdoors independently without being installed in the control cabinet. It not only has convenient wiring and installation, but also saves labor and equipment costs.

Now, the farmer can use solar energy to drive his water pumping sytem for his fruit trees irrigation during the day.When necessary at night, diesel generator can be used as a backed up power supply. Compared with his original diesel water pump system, it significantly reduces diesel consumption and system maintenance cost, and has obvious economic benefits.
