Solartech solar water pumping system saves high electricity cost for water supply system of a Thai paper mill.

In July 2021, Solartech PB-G3 series 2.2kW AC solar water surface pump system was selected to supply water to a paper mill in Thailand. The PB-G3 solar pump inverter with the function of "Solar Priority, with Grid Complementary" will ensure that the pump system will give priority to the use of solar power generation, that is, when solar power system and AC power supply (grid or diesel generator) are available at the same time, under the condition of ensuring the normal operation of solar pumping system, the priority is given to the maximum utility of solar power system, and the AC power supply is automatically shielded or connected.

After the project is officially operated, the pumping system of the paper mill can make full use of solar power generation in the daytime and automatically switch the grid power supply at night. Compared with the previous water pumping system, it can save nearly half of the electricity cost, thus increasing the comprehensive profit for the paper mill.
