Project Location:
Myanmar
Project Introduction:
Although Myanmar has sufficient water resources, Myanmar still faces the problem of insufficient water supply. Why is this? According to official records, 527 villages faced water shortages in 2019. Due to the shortage of water supply, villagers need to travel far to get water. Some analysis pointed out that in addition to natural factors, another more important reason is that Myanmar's basic water supply facilities and large-scale water conservancy projects are still not perfect.
Solution:
Shenzhen Solartech 2.2kw solar pumping system was successfully installed in Myanmar. The project is mainly used for living water supply for nearby villagers and temples. The total head is about 30 meters, and the average daily water output exceeds 100 cubic meters.
Social Benefits:
The project also built a storage tank and water delivery facilities, which are mainly used for domestic water supply in nearby villages and temples. With this set of solar pumping system, local villagers and monks have effectively solved the difficult to access water supply problem in the past.
