In the San José de Chiquitos region far from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, many farmers rely on growing crops and animal husbandry to make a living. How to obtain available water resources at low cost and continuously is still an urgent problem in the region.

In May 2024, Solartech partner in Bolivia installed a solar pumping system for a local farmer. They select Solartech original solar water pump inverter 3.7KW PB-G2 series, which can drive a 2.2KW water pump with a head of 100 meters to pump water from the well to the water tower for water storage. The system is operated by solar energy only, working at sunrise and stop at sunset, without manual supervision, and automatically running. 30 cubic meters of water can be pumped to the pool for water storage every day, meeting the daily water needs of the livestock on the ranch.

This is not the first farmer in San Jose to adopt solartech solar water pumps. In the past few years, more and more farmers have been using solar water pumps to supply clean domestic water for their villages, or to extract river water for irrigation and animal husbandry. Regardless of the application, solar water pumps have indeed provided convenience for local residents.
