Project Introduction:
Cambodia has a tropical monsoon climate with high temperature all year round, divided into two seasons: dry season and rainy season. Insufficient or unstable grid supply restricts the development of agricultural planting industry.
Solution:
In November 2021, Solartech's 15kW solar surface pumping system was successfully installed in Cambodia for agricultural irrigation. The system water head is 30 meters, daily water flow is can up to 200m³ every day.The system uses solar power generation to provide power for the water pump but no need battery.It operates fully automatically without manual supervision.
Social Benefits:
It has low operation and maintenance cost, and effectively solves the problem of water intake and irrigation in the power shortage area of Cambodia in the dry season.
