Solartech solar water pump system helps Haiti expand the irrigation area of arable land

Project Introduction:
Haiti's rural areas are dominated by mountains and lack of arable land. The arable land area is around 555000 hectares, of which around 125000 hectares are irrigable land, but only half of them have irrigation systems.
Solution:
In June, 2022, Solartech PB series 22kW AC solar water pump system was successfully installed in a farm in Artibonite Province, Haiti. The designed total water head of the system is about 30 meters, and the average daily pump water volume is more than 1000 cubic meters, which is used to supply water to the irrigation system of nearby farms.
Social Benefits:
The system is powered by solar system without battery, and can be connected to backup power supply such as fuel generator when necessary. After the operation of the system, the problem of lack of irrigation for crops in the dry season was effectively solved, and the harvest of crops was guaranteed.
