In April 2022, Solartech PB-G3 series 1.1KW single phase solar pump system was successfully installed in a farm on the outskirts of Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

The system mainly provides drinking water for cattle and the excess water is used for irrigation of corn fields around the farm. The system is equipped with diesel generator to provide backup power supply to meet the owner's water pumping demand at night. The system operates automatically without battery and manual supervision. The installation of the system effectively solves the problem of drinking water for cattle in dry season.

Mr. Offman Blanco, the owner of the project, said that he planned to install several sets of high-power solar water pumps on his 500 hectares farm to plant trees and crops on the abandoned land, so that the land irrigation can be guaranteed even in dry years.Of course, here the groundwater is very precious and must be protected and effectively utilized.
