Sudan (2020)

Agriculture is the main pillar of Sudan's national economy. The agricultural population accounts for about 80% of the total population in China. Due to the weak water infrastructure and the lack of electricity, most farms in Sudan have to rely on rainwater for irrigation. Drought is a serious threat to the crop harvest.

In October 2020, Shenzhen Solartech PK series 5.5kW AC solar pumping system was successfully installed in northern Sudan. The system replaces the original diesel engine water pump system. The system is fully automatic operation without manual supervision. It not only provides stable and reliable irrigation water for the farm, but also saves operation and maintenance costs, and promotes the local agricultural development and farmers' income.
