Project Introduction:
If there is no electricity in South Africa, it can be irrigated when there is sunlight.
Solution:
In March 2020, Shenzhen Solartech solar pumping system was applied in a farmland near Orange River, South Africa. This project adopt Solartech PB3700H solar pump inerter, convert solar energy to electricity, pumps underground water from Orange river, supply water for farmland irrigation.
Social Benefits:
The MPPT system collect solar energy automatically, switch on pump if the sunshine is enough in the morning, and will switch off automatically if sunshine is weak in the afternoon. It is in-situ pump water and use water in the daytime, cut down water tank and battery cost, and reduce water evaporation as much as possible. By adopting this technology, farmland shall improve farmland harvests and business benefit obviously.
