Project Introduction:
Cambodia has a tropical monsoon climate, with rainy season from May to October and dry season from November to next April. Affected by the terrain and monsoon, the precipitation varies greatly across the country. In the dry season, the agricultural irrigation conditions in Cambodia are seriously restricted.
Solution:
In July 2022, Solartech PB series 5.5kW solar deep well pump system was successfully installed in a pepper plantation in Tbong Khmum Province, Cambodia. The project uses submersible water pump to pump water, and the whole system is powered by solar energy, without battery, and operates automatically without manual supervision.
Social Benefits:
The daily average pump water volume of the system reaches 200 cubic meters per day, which not only meets the irrigation water of the plantation, but also provides domestic water security for farmers.
