In recent years, some regions of Yunnan Province has been suffering from drought severely. Agriculture has been influenced dramatically. The ongoing problem has caught attention of government officials. Yunnan Water Conservancy Department decides to further the attempt to promote advanced water conservancy technology, to bring technology to actual application. On July 26th, 2013, Advanced Agricultural Water Conservancy Conference was held in Kunming.

 

Shenzhen Solartech Renewable Energy was invited by Ministry of Water Resource Technology Promotion Center to attend the conference. During the conference, Solartech chief engineer Dr. Xu Zheng introduced agricultural irrigation, desert control, grassland animal husbandry, daily water supply, seawater desalination, solar city landscaping and other applications that had been applied to over 100 countries and regions all over the world. Dr. Xu specifically introduced related applications (Funing County, Yunnan Province) for fighting drought. The report was acclaimed by attendees.
