The president of ICID hosted the annual conference of “Pasture Irrigation by Solar Energy” project, intended to introduce advanced solar water irrigation technology to agriculture countries in West African, South Asia andMiddle East.

 

The annual conference of “Popularization and application of complete solar energy system on pasture irrigation” project was opened from Nov 14th to 16th inBeijing,China, the conference was hosted by the new elected president of ICID(International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage) Zhanyi Gao professor. Zhanyi Gao summarized the application of solar water pumping system on pasture irrigation in China, required Shenzhen Solartech Renewable Energy Co., to analysis the application cases in last 10 years all over the world in-depth, and bring advanced solar water irrigation technology to agriculture countries in West African, South Asia andMiddle East.

 

The discussions of the conference centered on specific usages and  applications of solar water irrigation technology in Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Xizang andQinghai. The participants included Jinyue Yan, professor in Royal Institute of Technology who represented for Asian Development Bank, and Zheng Xu, chief engineer in Solartech Renewable Energy, professor ofTsinghuaUniversity, and Genjian Yu, general of China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, as well as some leaders of research institute on water resources from various regions.

 

At the conference, Zheng Xu professor in Solartech Renewable Energy provided specific solutions to the problems happened in all places using solar pumping systems, he illustrated the technical principles of pumping system and system optimization design, also reported the popularized status of solar pumping system produced by Shenzhen Solartech Renewable Energy, which had been applied to pasture animal husbandry, agriculture irrigation, desert control, daily water supply and so on in more than 100 places over 40 countries in last 10 years.
