Solar pumping system for living water supply
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China started to promote construction of new countryside, substantial repercussions was reacted by Chinese cities and provinces. To meet the requirements of construction of new countryside and development of modern agriculture, the government of Yulin County builded reservoirs and boreholes to supply irrigation water for agriculture as well as living water for local residents, the water scarcity issues were solved.
Solar pump project design
The solar pumping project in Yulin County, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia applied Solartech PS9200 solar pumping system, which could supply 100m3 water daily with 80m lift. A 300m3 reservoir with anti-frozen protection was built nearby the solar pump system which could be filled up in 3 days by solar energy. The system could produce water independently, reduced the construction of water pipe network, a lot of costs on construction and maintenance could be saved. The solar water supplying project could fulfill the daily water consumption of whole village. Solartech PS9200 solar pumping system can generate 32850kWh annually, in its 25-year service life, it can save standard coal 309 tons and reduce the emission of CO2 135.9 tons, SO2 6.2 tons, smoke 4.6 tons, ash 80.3 tons.
The successfully installed solar pumping water storage station in Yulin County is playing a significant role in improving rural living and production conditions, which helps to promote the construction of new countryside of local area.
