On April 8, 2013, Ethiopia team leading by the Minister of Ministry of Water Resources and Energy with the Technical Experts, Project Coordinate Director, and Finance Director visited Shenzhen Solartech Renewable Energy co., LTD. Jointly discussed the Ethiopian development plans for the application of water resources and new energy. Solartech management team had in-depth communication with our visiting guests.

 

 In Ethiopia, 94% water resources used in agriculture, 6% for domestic water supply. There are 90 million populations, among which 80% are farmers. So how to efficiently use country's rich solar energy and water resources is the primary issue for Ethiopia Government.

 

The Ethiopia team visited Solartech National Key Laboratory, Power Generation R&D Center and the world’s first solar pumping system demonstration base which located in Shenzhen graduate school of Tsinghua University. Solartech chief engineer Dr Xu Zheng and R&D team shared the latest research progress and development with our visiting guests for the applications of solar water pumping, solar sea water desalination. Visitors are highly appreciated for it.

 

Then the guests came to Solartech manufacturing center, GM Assistant, Terry Li and Sales Manager Moon Shi presented an introduction for Solartech history, application fields of solar pumping system, global cases and projects videos of solar water pumping systems (Solar Water Conservancy Water-Saving project in Hainan, Desert Highway Sand Break Project in Xinjiang, Solar Desert Control project in Shaanxi and Solar Agriculture projects in many countries such as Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey etc); and shared the application of utilizing solar water pump for living water supply for rural residents besides the application for agriculture irrigation.  

 

Visitors spoke highly for stability and usability of solar pump systems and comprehensive solutions, fully approved that solartech is a professional solution provider and manufacturer of solar water pumping system.
